Arsenal have received FIVE inquiries to take Carl Jenkinson on loan, reveals The Daily Mirror.

Watford, we are told, are the latest club to come in for the 24-year-old right-back, who will be allowed to move in the January transfer window. Hull City, Swansea, West Ham and Aston Villa are the other interested parties.

Former Arsenal star Lukas Podolski (remember him?) could become the latest high-profile name to play in the Chinese Super League after Beijing Guoan made a "remarkable offer" for the Galatasaray forward, says The Daily Mail.

Reports in Turkey suggest Beijing Guoan have offered around £5.5 million for the 31-year-old German.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Galatasaray spokesman Levent Nazifoglu said: "We've received a remarkable offer from Beijing Guoan for Lukas Podolski. Now we're thinking about this offer. The possible move is up to the player."

China is where the big money is. Carlos Tevez recently finalised his move to Shanghai Shenhua to become the highest-paid footballer in the world, earning an estimated £615,000 per week.
